I cannot thank you and John enough for the fantastic steam day that you both provided for my Dad over the Easter weekend. It really was third time lucky and he had such a great day and hasn't stopped talking about it since. The work that you both put in to keep the engine up and running and looking so fantastic is incredible, I am sure that John is looking proudly down on all your achievements. Please also pass our thanks to Betty for allowing the use of John's engine and allowing people to have such a special day.
It was great to see you and the engine again at the Bath and West Show, we will keep an eye out for you in the future at other rallies. Wishing you all the very best for the future.

A really big "Thank You" to you and your Team (Graham, Glen and Connor) for a superb day on 13th June, driving and working on the Sir John William in truly idealic surroundings. It may have been the 13th !!!, but it was far from unlucky for me, from my surprise collection in Dowlish Wake, to the engine operating introduction and it's history, the firing and driving experience, a fine lunch at the New Inn and the excitement of the return journey to Cudworth, made for a truly great day. My single regret is that we live too far away to make it a regular event !!!. You and the boys offer a unique opportunity to sample an experience from a bygone age, I strongly recommend all those with any level of interest in steam power to book a day with you,

What a great day!!!!
Thanks to you both for a wonderful day, and letting us all have such a great experience with the engine. Without your Enthusiasm and calmness some of us wouldn't have dared have a go. We all got something from the day, some the pure thrill and nostalgia of driving such a magnificent machine, others relaxing with the easy pace and beautiful countryside (and the pub/cider mill tasting!!!). It's a day that none of us will forget...it was great to see 'the birthday boy' polishing so enthusiastically!
